Over the weekend, I and my friend Anne Rainbow, delivered a writing workshop at a lovely hotel in Devon. We had a great mix of really interesting people attending, ranging from a lady who’d never written anything before, to a very succesful writer of women’s magazine stories. I hope they all left feeling inspired to either create new stories or continue with projects they’d already started. From the fact that I saw several of them busily writing away, even in their free time, I suspect that might be the case.
I returned to a couple of pieces of good news; short story sales to magazines and notification of the publication date of this book. It contains one of my stories and will be released on my birthday.
Devon is one of my favourite places and to be able to attend your writing workshop would have been such a pleasure for me. Unfortunately, I live too far away! Congratulations on all of your latest successes, Patsy. What an achievement to be selected for this anthology.
