Autumnal means relating to, characteristic of, or occurring in autumn. This display at Lulworth castle in Dorset definitely has an autumnal feel to it. Most of the castle is now just a shell, following a fire and years of neglect. There are things still to see though, such as various decorations, a recreation of a study or writing room, and the views from the top of the tower.

Lulworth castle was one of our first visits on our autumn adventure away in R’ten, the mobile writing retreat (campervan). Since setting off the weather has turned decidedly autumnal! That won’t stop us though. I’ll be sharing lots more photos, so you can take a virtual trip with us.
